The first team (USA-1) completed a 17 hour rescue of a woman that had been trapped at the Hotel Montana in Port Au –Prince. This operation was completed about 0100 this morning. They are currently assisting the French with 4 successful
Hoping the report was true, we drove through the clogged streets and snaked our way up the hills to the Hotel Montana, a landmark in Haiti, known for housing westerners and political diplomats. We started driving, found our way to six different schools, but there was no sign of a rescue.
